Bike Sharing
PubliBike
Practical and easy: Thanks to PubliBike’s bike sharing system, you can borrow bicycles from stations all over the city and its suburbs – PubliBike operates the largest bike-sharing network in the country. The stations are marked with the typical PubliBike columns and the bikes are easily unlocked and locked using the app or the SwissPass. The app is not only useful for unlocking the bike, it also makes it easy to find the nearest station thanks to the integrated map. Perfect for short distances within the city. Or how else would you get from the Zytglogge (Clock Tower) down to Marzili quickly and easily?
You can also use the live chat on the PubliBike websiteto receive detailed information.
carvelo2go
carvelo2go is the largest sharing platform for electric cargo bikes. Their “carvelos” are rented by the hour via the app or the website and picked up at and returned to one of the designated hosts (a bakery, for example). The bikes’ robust wooden crates can carry cargo of up to 100 kilos or up to two children – family outing, here we come!
