Buskers Bern Street Music Festival
"Buskers" - are street artists. For over 30 years, buskers festivals have been held all over the world, where they inspire audiences with their skills and creativity. They enchant the audience with music, dance, comedy, puppet theatre, art and much more in the middle of the respective city and in the open air. In rotation, they enliven the many small venues spread across the festival site.
"Bändeli" (festival passes) can also be purchased directly from the Tourist Information at Bern railway station from 18 July.
The first Buskers street music festival was organised in Bern in 2004. Since then, over 140 people from all over the world have brought art, music, dance and comedy to the Lower Old Town every year, attracting over 70,000 fans to the festival. The audience pays their well-earned fee on the spot, as is customary, in the form of hat money. Anyone who would like to support the festival and the organisers can buy a Buskers "Bändeli", a festival pass so to speak. Click here for the tickets.
