The federal city is particularly famous for the Zytglogge (clock tower), the imposing Bundeshaus and the Bärenpark with its shaggy inhabitants. But eerie stories and legends lurk in the alleyways and behind the baroque façades. Rummaging through Bern's past brings to light exciting and astonishing facts that you won't find in the history books.
During this city tour, participants learn what the Unesco World Heritage Site has in common with the seven deadly sins, why the executioner had a very special kind of curler at the ready and why some people used binoculars to observe the Marzilibad from the Monbijou Bridge. Shortly after the start, participants are given an after-work beer each at Café Florian at the railway station (non-alcoholic if desired). At the halfway point, the second Fübi is collected from Café Fédéral on Bärenplatz and the first appetite can be satisfied with a home-made pretzel.
At the end of the tour, the city guides will be happy to give you tips on how to continue the evening with culinary delights. So be sure to ask!
