This picturesque castle of the Zähringen dynasty sits enthroned atop a hill. When you walk through its gates, you are taken back in time to the 12^th century. There are five grand halls inside, including the Great Hall, the best-preserved representational hall of the High Middle Ages in all of Switzerland.
